The food is very good here. Beautifully prepared and presented, with generous portions. Don't miss this restaurant, it has a lovely atmosphere too. No dress code, although we went smartish casual. It was nice to be able to hold a conversation as a chilled environment too. Recommend pre booking for dinner.
We stayed here for one night this week , with our two sons. The hotel is in a stunning location, the views are beautiful, a short 3 minute walk to the beach which is beautiful. ( manorbier beach) The food we had was so lovely . Croquettes , steak , chicken Caesar salad , and the kids had a tomato pasta and pesto pasta bake. It’s a family run hotel and they really Couldn’t do enough for us , very welcoming and helpful. Waiting staff were lovely also. Breakfast was tasty and made to order which is always nice. Lots of choice. Room was nice and perfect for what we needed , very clean. Close to Tenby and close to folly Farm . Will definitely be returning . Thank you for a great stay.
Team was welcoming, but restaurant closed when we arrived, however they reserved a table in the nearby pub when I called. The room was spacious but trouble with the door lock system and the property needs some touch up here and there. Breakfast was very good and service friendly, except the coffee which was rather light.
We visiter for breakfast one day and dinner another. Breakfast was nice with a great selection and very reasonably priced. Dinner was excellent, the vegetarian options were far more interesting than the standard vege options most places have and the staff were friendly and helpful. A great find.
Had a lovely meal this evening, really attentive staff, brilliant food. We’re a family of four, 2 kids under 11 - who also really enjoyed their food. Recommend visiting, and will 100% be returning! Thanks all.
Beautiful hotel, we stayed in a lovely clean room with amazing views of the ocean. Breakfast was yummy! The staff are really friendly. It is a dog friendly hotel - perfect place for a walk to the beach then back to a lovely room to relax with the view later. Nearby Castle Inn pub does really good food too. Highly recommend.
My husband and I stayed here with our families for 3 nights around our wedding this last week. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and everybody (we occupied all 9 rooms!) commented on how homely it felt. Those of us with sea views were treated to the most gorgeous views out onto Manorbier beach. The breakfast was also fantastic, we couldn't have asked for more. Castlemead also catered for our wedding meal and to say we were blown away is an understatement! The team curated the most incredible food, and allowed us to design our menu completely, which meant we were able to have exactly what we wanted. The food was delicious, and so plentiful! The team at Castlemead are wonderful, and nothing is too much to ask, they were more than accommodating of all of our various requests. We will definitely be back!
This place went above and beyond to put a meal for our party after we had travelled from Manchester, Gloucester, London and Devon to spread our beloved Brother and his wife's ashes at Freshwater East. A wonderful meal and they opened especially for us which was amazing. Thank you so much and food and service 5 star.
